How will our relationship work?
We know we must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. That is why Cobwebs do not ask you to sign a contract. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation of our service. We appreciate when you let us know how we can serve you better.

Who will be cleaning my home?
We make every effort to send the same team each visit, however, sometimes due to illness, vacations or other reasons we may have to change the team. We do however, keep records of the way you like things done, so you should not see a difference.

At what time will Cobwebs be at our home?
Our normal workdays are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. While it is not always possible to give a specific time, we will make every effort to meet your needs.

Do I need to provide cleaning materials or equipment?
No. Cobwebs supply all cleaning materials and equipment, whilst on the subject, all our products are area coded so there is no cross contamination between e.g. bathrooms and the kitchen.

Do I need to be at home when Cobwebs call?
It is not necessary for you to be at home. For your peace of mind, all our staff are fully insured, trained and vetted. For ease of access, you may provide us with a key. However, you are welcome to stay at home during the clean.

Do I pay for tea/lunch breaks?
No. In fact, our staff do not eat, drink or smoke on your premises, therefore the time you pay for, is productive time.

What if something is damaged during the clean?
We treat your home with complete care and respect. However, should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning, Cobwebs will make every effort to repair or if necessary, replace the item. When appropriate, insurance claims will be filed.

Am I liable for worker’s compensation, insurance or employment taxes?
Many homeowners are not aware of their personal liability regarding work related injury and social security taxes for independent home-service workers. No need to worry, Cobwebs take care of all this for you.

How do I pay for the service?
Most customers find it convenient to simply leave a cheque in the home, made payable to Cobwebs. Payment is made on the day of each cleaning visit, unless alternate arrangements have been made in advance.

What if I am not satisfied with the cleaning?
We make every effort to provide you with reliable cleaners, However, if you are not satisfied with any of our cleaning services, let us know and we will re-do the clean free of charge. If you are still not satisfied with the service, we will change your team and make sure the mistakes are never repeated.

Do you use subcontractors?
No, in fact we are one of the very few domestic cleaning companies who have our own specialist cleaners such as truck-mounted carpet/upholstery and oven cleaners, so you don’t pay loaded, third party prices.

What about holidays or changing my cleaning schedule?
If your scheduled clean falls on a major holiday, we will contact you and reschedule your service. If you need to change your scheduled clean or if you go away for a few weeks, we appreciate a 72 - hour notice. When short notice is given, we may need to charge a fee if the team cannot be reassigned.

What is “Vacation Home Care”
This is a service not offered by other cleaning companies and is only available to our regular customers as a special service. We take care of your home whilst you are away, this service can be tailored to suite your needs. We are able to implement this service at a moments notice, in case of emergencies or unexpected business trips.

What do I get if I recommend a friend to Cobwebs?
We hope good news travels fast. When one of our customers recommends a friend and they become a weekly customer, we will give a free clean as a ‘thank you’
